Delta State Operation: Army Seizes Weapons from Suspects
Troops from the Nigerian Army, under the Joint Task Force Operation Delta Safe, arrested three suspects in Delta State for possession of a significant cache of weapons.
The suspects, identified as Abel Festus, Ramsey Akporoyibo, and Stephen Omah, were intercepted while traveling in a Lexus RX 350 in the Oghareki community of Ethiope West local government area.
The army recovered five pump-action rifles, a Dane gun, a battle axe, and 51 cartridges during the operation. The suspects have been taken into custody for further interrogation
