Heroic Rescues: Nigerian Army Saves 40 Hostages
The Nigerian Army recently conducted successful operations, eliminating eight terrorists and rescuing 40 hostages across several states, including Nasarawa, Kaduna, Borno, and Yobe.
These coordinated operations targeted terrorist hideouts and resulted in the recovery of firearms, ammunition, and other supplies.
One notable operation took place in Borno State, where troops rescued 38 hostages, including men, women, and children, who had been held by terrorists attempting to relocate them.
Additionally, Nigerian forces apprehended an arms courier in Nasarawa, who was found with a large cache of ammunition, further disrupting arms proliferation networks.
These operations demonstrate the Army’s continued efforts to weaken terrorist groups and secure the safety of citizens.
The Chief of Army Staff has praised the troops for their bravery and relentless fight for peace. He also expressed gratitude to the citizens whose continuous provision of credible information has been instrumental in these successes.
