Katsina Police Operate to Free Kidnapping Victims
The Katsina State Police Command successfully rescued eight victims of kidnapping following three separate operations targeting bandits in Danmusa and Faskari Local Government Areas.
According to reports, the kidnappers had abducted two women on the outskirts of Matarau village, while other attempts involved blocking major roads to kidnap additional victims.
Upon receiving distress calls, police operatives engaged the armed bandits in a gun battle, forcing the kidnappers to flee with various injuries.
All victims were rescued unharmed, and the police have been commended for their bravery during these operations​
