Improving LASTMA: Six Officials Fired for Misconduct
The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) has dismissed six of its officials due to severe misconduct and inefficiency.
This decision followed recommendations from the Personnel Management Board and was approved by the Lagos State Civil Service Commission.
The General Manager of LASTMA, Olalekan Bakare-Oki, emphasized that these actions were in line with Lagos State’s civil service rules.
The dismissals are part of ongoing efforts to improve the agency’s operations and ensure accountability among officials.
Lagos residents have been encouraged to report both commendable actions and misconduct by LASTMA officers through the agency’s toll-free hotline.
