Matawalle’s Urgent Warning to Bandit Informants

Operation Fansan Yamma: Battling Banditry in Nigeria

Bello Matawalle, Nigeria’s Minister of State for Defence, recently issued a stern warning to bandit informants, urging them to repent or face dire consequences.

Speaking during an assessment visit to Sokoto State, he addressed those who have been assisting bandits by providing information about military movements.

Matawalle emphasized that such individuals must stop their actions immediately, warning, “You better repent or we send you back to your creator.”

This declaration was made during the launch of “Operation Fansan Yamma,” a military campaign against banditry.

He also called for public support in the fight against insurgency and highlighted the recent successes of the military in neutralizing key bandit figures​.
