Juventus to Terminate Pogba’s Contract: What’s Next?
Paul Pogba is reportedly in advanced discussions with Olympique Marseille regarding a potential move during the January 2025 transfer window.
This comes as Juventus is preparing to terminate his contract following his reduced ban for a doping violation.
Originally banned for four years after testing positive for a banned substance, Pogba’s suspension was reduced to 18 months by the Court of Arbitration for Sport, allowing him to resume training in January and return to competitive play by March.
The termination of his contract with Juventus will make Pogba a free agent, and Marseille has been negotiating with the French midfielder for several weeks.
The club is looking to add him to their squad in the mid-season, potentially reuniting him with former Manchester United teammate Mason Greenwood, who joined Marseille earlier this year.
