UN Warns of Starvation Crisis in Northern Gaza
The United Nations has reported that no food has entered northern Gaza since the start of October 2024, putting 1 million people at risk of starvation.
The World Food Programme (WFP) stated that the situation has worsened due to a severe reduction in humanitarian aid, and key bakeries in the region have shut down due to a lack of flour and fuel.
The ongoing conflict and blockades have led to critical food shortages, intensifying the threat of famine in the region.
