Borno State’s Struggle: Ndume Advocates for Lower Fuel Prices
Senator Mohammed Ali Ndume has urged President Bola Tinubu to take immediate action to reduce the rising costs of fuel and food, citing the severe hardships being faced by Nigerians.
Ndume expressed concern that some individuals within the government are advising the president poorly, pushing policies that have worsened inflation and increased transportation costs, which in turn have made essential goods unaffordable.
He highlighted the dire situation in Borno State, where many families are struggling to feed themselves, and farmers are unable to transport their goods due to high fuel costs.
Ndume called on the president to address these issues urgently to prevent further suffering among the population.
