Investigation Launched into Fatal Shooting by Security Agents
The Enugu State Police Command has initiated an investigation into the death of a man who was allegedly shot by security agents in the state.
The incident took place in Nsukka, where a police officer reportedly fired the shot that led to the victim’s death.
Following the incident, the Commissioner of Police, Kanayo Uzuegbu, ordered a thorough investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
The police assured the public that the officer involved would face legal consequences if found culpable, and expressed their condolences to the victim’s family while urging calm as the investigation proceeds.
