Why Reno Omokri Supports Tinubu Over Atiku
Reno Omokri, former spokesperson for the PDP, has made headlines with his recent statement expressing support for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 elections, rather than his former party leader, Atiku Abubakar.
Omokri emphasized that if Peter Obi also contests, the chances of Atiku defeating Tinubu would be slim. He believes that in a three-way race, Tinubu is likely to be re-elected.
Omokri has also suggested that Atiku’s best chance of winning would be if Obi does not run, reducing the vote-splitting within the opposition.
