Nigeria’s Leadership Critique: Obi on Absent Presidents Amid Crises
Peter Obi recently criticized President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima for traveling abroad at the same time, leaving the country without its top leaders during a period of significant domestic challenges.
Obi expressed his frustration, calling it a move that “does not represent common sense”.
He emphasized that with Nigeria facing serious economic crises, insecurity, and poverty, it was irresponsible for both the President and the Vice President to be out of the country simultaneously, especially when citizens are grappling with numerous hardships.
