Niger Delta and Sports Ministries Scrapped: What to Expect
The Federal Executive Council (FEC) has scrapped the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs and the Ministry of Sports Development in a recent cabinet reshuffle.
Responsibilities for the Niger Delta will now be overseen by the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), and sports matters will be handled under a different framework.
Additionally, the Ministries of Culture and Tourism have been merged to streamline government operations, aiming for more effective management of these sectors​.
