Key Ministerial Changes Under Tinubu’s Leadership
President Bola Tinubu has dismissed five ministers from his cabinet, including Uju Kennedy Ohanenye, who served as the Minister of Women Affairs.
The other ministers affected by this decision are Lola Ade-John (Tourism), Jamila Ibrahim (Youth Development), Tahir Mamman (Education), and Abdullahi Gwarzo (Minister of State, Housing and Urban Development).
The sackings were announced as part of a broader cabinet reshuffle aimed at improving the administration’s effectiveness and aligning with Tinubu’s development goals.
The president expressed gratitude to the outgoing ministers for their service and reiterated the importance of pushing the government’s priorities forward.
This shake-up follows Tinubu’s earlier appointments in 2023, reflecting the administration’s desire for a more efficient team.
