Lagos Drug Bust: NDLEA Recovers Loud and Cannabis in Shrine Raid
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) recently raided a shrine in Lagos, arresting two suspects and seizing quantities of “loud” (a potent strain of cannabis) and other cannabis products.
The operation targeted the shrine following intelligence reports that it was being used as a base for drug trafficking and consumption.
During the raid, NDLEA agents recovered several illicit items, including packaged cannabis intended for distribution.
The suspects are currently in custody and may face charges related to drug possession and distribution.
This raid is part of the NDLEA’s ongoing efforts to crack down on illegal drug activities in Lagos and across Nigeria, especially in areas believed to harbor criminal operations under the guise of traditional practices.
