Organ Harvesting for Down Syndrome Cure: Four Suspects Nabbed in Ebonyi
The Ebonyi State Police Command recently arrested four suspects involved in a disturbing case of organ harvesting and alleged ritual killings.
These individuals confessed to murdering three victims and harvesting their organs, claiming it was an attempt to create a “cure” for a person with Down syndrome.
The arrested suspects included Innocent Elebe, Eze Elechi, Obinna Nwanguru, and Oda Peter, whose statements led police to locate and recover the bodies of two victims, with ongoing efforts to recover the third.
This case was part of a broader operation in which Ebonyi law enforcement apprehended 177 individuals in October for various offenses, including kidnapping, robbery, and illegal possession of firearms.
