Osun Security Success: Amotekun Captures Feared Armed Robber
Amotekun operatives in Osun state recently arrested five armed robbery suspects, neutralizing three others during a gun battle.
This operation occurred in the early hours when the suspects attempted to rob Dangote Integrated Steel Rolling Mills in Osogbo.
Upon receiving a distress call, Amotekun forces, alongside the police and local hunters, rushed to the scene.
The robbers opened fire, but the operatives responded, leading to the capture of five suspects, all injured from the confrontation, while three were killed during the shootout.
The suspects, aged between 18 and 29, were later transferred to the police for further investigation and prosecution.
