Gunfire on Southwest Airlines Flight Raises Safety Concerns
A Southwest Airlines flight was struck by gunfire while taxiing for departure at Dallas Love Field Airport on November 15, 2024.
The incident caused damage near the cockpit of the Boeing 737 MAX 8. Fortunately, there were no injuries among passengers or crew.
The flight was bound for Indianapolis but returned to the gate, and all passengers were safely evacuated.
The Dallas Police Department is investigating the source and motive of the gunfire, while the airport resumed normal operations after a brief closure.
