CAF Player of the Year 2023: Ademola Lookman Among Elite Shortlist
Ademola Lookman has been shortlisted for the 2024 CAF Player of the Year award. His standout performances with Atalanta, including their triumph in the UEFA Europa League, earned him a place among the top contenders.
Along with Lookman, Nigerian teammate William Troost-Ekong has also made the final list. However, notable players such as Victor Boniface and last year’s winner, Victor Osimhen, were not included.
Other notable names on the shortlist include Moroccan stars Achraf Hakimi and Sofiane Rahimi, along with other top African talents like Simon Adingra and Chancel Mbemba.
