Breaking News: Abia Policeman Fatality Amid Gunmen Attack
Gunmen attacked a convoy in Abia State, killing one police officer and injuring another. The attack occurred on Sunday night at Ubakala in the Umuahia South local government area.
The police officers, who were traveling in a convoy with a lawmaker’s aide, were ambushed by assailants dressed in black and police jackets.
The attackers opened fire after identifying the officers, resulting in one fatality and leaving the other officer seriously injured.
This attack follows a similar one involving soldiers earlier in the week.
