Controversy Erupts: Tinubu Allegedly Removes UNIZIK VC Without Due Process

Bernard Odoh, the recently dismissed Vice-Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), has strongly criticized the removal of his position by President Bola Tinubu.

In a recent interview, Odoh expressed that he was unlawfully dismissed via a press release, arguing that since his appointment was made through due process and not through a press statement, his removal should not have followed such a method.

Odoh, who asserts his qualifications and the legitimacy of his appointment, claims that his dismissal was based on unfounded accusations and procedural violations.

He emphasized that his case is currently in the courts, and the federal government should have awaited the judicial outcome before taking action.
