UFC Star Conor McGregor Loses Civil Case: $250,000 Payout to Assault Victim
Conor McGregor has been found civilly liable in a sexual assault case in Dublin, Ireland.
The jury ruled that McGregor must pay $250,000 in damages to the plaintiff, Nikita Hand, for an alleged assault that took place in a hotel in December 2018.
McGregor denied the allegations and claimed the encounter was consensual.
However, evidence presented during the trial, including medical testimony about injuries consistent with the claims, led to the ruling. McGregor has announced plans to appeal the decision.
