Dark Rituals: Enugu Man Admits to Family Poisoning for Wealth
In a shocking incident in Enugu State, a man identified as Somadina Orji has been arrested for allegedly killing his mother and sister and burying them in shallow graves in their backyard.
The tragedy occurred in Umuagu Inyi, Oji River Local Government Area. The suspect reportedly confessed to the crimes during a community interrogation after his younger brother raised the alarm when he couldn’t find their mother.
Reports suggest that prior conflicts between Somadina and his family escalated, including a recent altercation where he attempted to harm his younger brother. The sister had been missing for weeks before the mother’s murder.
Upon investigation, the remains of both victims were exhumed and taken to a mortuary. The police have confirmed the arrest, with further investigations underway to ensure prosecution.
