NSCDC Cracks Down on Illegal Refinery in Abia Forest: Two Arrested
The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has uncovered an illegal refinery in a forest in Isiala Ihie community, Ugwunagbo Local Government Area of Abia State.
During the operation, two suspects were arrested. The refinery consisted of numerous locally made ovens for processing stolen crude oil.
The NSCDC has reiterated its commitment to combating oil theft and illegal refining in Nigeria.
