Unpacking the Alleged Fraud: Pastor Tobi Adegboyega’s Bold Response
Pastor Tobi Adegboyega has addressed concerns surrounding reports about his church, SPAC Nation, facing closure and his alleged involvement in fraudulent activities.
In a live interview, he clarified that the shutdown of a company associated with his church, Salvation Proclaimers Ministries Limited, was not related to SPAC Nation itself.
He explained that the company was no longer in use and that the court’s decision to wind it up removed a burden from his shoulders.
Adegboyega emphasized that SPAC Nation is still operational, continuing to hold services with around 2,000 young attendees.
In response to the accusations, Adegboyega defended his transparency and financial practices.
He denied accusations of financial exploitation, stating that he does not collect tithes or offerings, and clarified that his wealth is derived from business ventures, not from his congregation.
He also pointed out that authorities, including the police and BBC, have investigated SPAC Nation without finding any wrongdoing.
