Plane Stowaway Saga: Woman’s Journey from US to Paris Ends in Arrest
A woman managed to bypass multiple security checkpoints at JFK International Airport in New York and board a Delta Airlines flight to Paris without a ticket.
The incident occurred on November 26, 2024, one of the busiest travel days of the year. Despite undergoing TSA security screening and being cleared of prohibited items, she bypassed identity verification and boarding status checks.
She reportedly hid in the aircraft’s bathroom during the flight.
Upon arrival in Paris, French authorities discovered the woman, identified as a Russian national and U.S. green card holder, and detained her.
She was placed in a holding zone for deportation since she did not meet entry requirements for France.
On her return flight to the U.S., she caused a disturbance, delaying the flight as she protested being sent back.
She is now facing further investigations by TSA and potential legal action in the U.S. Authorities are examining the security lapses that enabled her to board the flight undetected.
