Saudi Arabia Drug Bust: 39kg Cocaine Seized from Nigerians
Four Nigerians were recently arrested in Saudi Arabia for trafficking 39 kilograms of cocaine.
The suspects, who were pilgrims traveling for Hajj, reportedly attempted to smuggle the drugs into the kingdom by concealing them in their luggage and personal items.
Saudi authorities apprehended the group during a routine security check at the airport.
This arrest highlights the ongoing challenge of combating drug trafficking, particularly involving Nigerian nationals who risk severe penalties in countries like Saudi Arabia, where drug-related offenses often carry capital punishment
