Bribery Failed: Rivers Police Arrest Alleged Fraudsters Amid $17,000 Offer

In Rivers State, the Zone 16 Police Command arrested three suspects for alleged internet fraud and possession of illicit drugs in the Rumukparali community of Obio/Akpo Local Government Area.

The suspects—Billion Ndubuisi, Charles Amachree, and Martins Chinemike—were found with illicit drugs, laptops, phones, and vehicles.

During the arrest, they reportedly offered the officers a $17,000 bribe to cover up their crimes, which the police rejected. Evidence, including the money, will be presented in court.
