Canadian Victim Receives Recovered Funds from Nigerian Fraud Case
Toronto Police have recently recovered cryptocurrency funds that were stolen from a Canadian victim through a fraudulent crypto investment scheme.
The victim had been lured into a scam by fraudsters posing as legitimate crypto traders, who promised high returns on investments made through a platform called “cryptos-seed.com.”
After transferring large sums of money, the victim lost nearly $400,000. Fortunately, the Toronto Police were able to trace the stolen funds and return them to the victim, marking a significant recovery in the fight against online financial fraud.
