Kechi Okwuchi Honors Loyola Jesuit College Angels on Crash Anniversary
Kechi Okwuchi, a survivor of the tragic Sosoliso plane crash, marked the 19th anniversary of the incident, paying tribute to the 60 classmates who lost their lives.
The crash, which occurred on December 10, 2005, claimed 107 lives in total, with Kechi being one of only two survivors and the sole survivor from her school, Loyola Jesuit College.
In her message, Kechi reflected on the lives of her classmates, describing them as “60 Angels,” and asked them to continue watching over her as she navigates life.
Kechi has become a symbol of resilience and inspiration, achieving academic success and global recognition as a motivational speaker and America’s Got Talent finalist.
