NAPTIP Welcomes Human Trafficking Victims from Libya in Kano: A Rescue Mission
The National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) has successfully received 10 human trafficking victims who were being trafficked to Libya.
The victims were intercepted and brought back to Nigeria, where they were handed over to NAPTIP officials in Kano for proper rehabilitation and reintegration.
This operation highlights the ongoing efforts by Nigerian authorities to combat human trafficking and protect vulnerable individuals from exploitation, particularly those being trafficked for forced labor or sexual exploitation.
NAPTIP continues to work in collaboration with other agencies to curb human trafficking and provide support to survivors.
