Nwakuche Ndidi: New Acting CG for Correctional Service Appointed by President Tinubu

President Bola Tinubu has appointed Nwakuche Sylvester Ndidi as the Acting Controller-General of the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), effective December 15, 2024.

This appointment follows the completion of Haliru Nababa’s tenure, who served as the previous Controller-General.

Ndidi, previously the Deputy Controller-General in charge of Training and Staff Development, has an extensive career in the service and holds notable national honors, including being a Fellow of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS).

President Tinubu has encouraged him to utilize his experience to advance the goals and reforms within the NCoS.
