Tragic Death in Ogun: Truck Driver and Motor Boy Arrested for Assault
In Ogun State, the police recently arrested a truck driver and his motor boy for allegedly beating a man to death in Ijebu-Ode.
The incident reportedly stemmed from a dispute where the victim, identified as Igwe Monday, was accused of absconding with a vehicle given to him for commercial purposes.
The suspects were hired by the vehicle’s owner, Jonah James, who is currently on the run. After intercepting the victim, the suspects reportedly assaulted him fatally and dumped his body in a bush near Faari Motorpark.
The police, following a tip-off, discovered the body and have launched a manhunt for James and other accomplices.
