Megan Thee Stallion Accuses Tory Lanez of ‘Psychological Warfare’ in New Legal Move
Megan Thee Stallion has filed a restraining order against Tory Lanez, alleging that he continues to harass her from prison through intermediaries.
Lanez is currently serving a 10-year sentence for assault after shooting Megan in 2020.
The filing claims that Lanez uses third parties, including blogger Milagro Gramz, to continue the harassment, causing Megan ongoing trauma and revictimization.
The restraining order seeks to prevent Lanez from orchestrating further harassment, which has reportedly caused Megan severe emotional distress and reputational harm.
A court hearing regarding the restraining order is scheduled for January 9. Lanez’s attorneys have not yet commented on the matter.
This development highlights ongoing concerns about the protection of victims from harassment, even when the perpetrator is incarcerated.
Megan Thee Stallion’s case has previously sparked discussions on issues such as the reluctance of Black victims to report crimes, gender politics in hip-hop, and the protection of Black women from targeted misogyny.
