Nyesom Wike’s Rise: Uche Secondus Says ‘Outside God, We Made You’
Former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Uche Secondus, has criticized Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory and former Governor of Rivers State, accusing him of ingratitude and political arrogance.
Speaking at the commissioning of internal roads in Bori, Khana Local Government Area of Rivers State, Secondus remarked, “You didn’t fall from heaven. Outside God, we made you.”
This statement underscores Secondus’s sentiment that Wike’s political ascent was significantly supported by key figures within the PDP, including himself.
He implied that Wike’s recent actions suggest a disregard for those who facilitated his rise to power.
Secondus’s comments reflect ongoing tensions within the PDP, particularly concerning Wike’s perceived dominance and approach to party politics.
The event in Bori also highlighted Governor Siminalayi Fubara’s commitment to infrastructure development in Rivers State.
Fubara commissioned 14 kilometers of internal roads, emphasizing his dedication to the state’s progress.
