Slavia Prague Signs David Moses: Nigerian Star’s Impact on the Czech Football Scene
Slavia Prague, a leading football club in the Czech Republic, has secured the services of Nigerian midfielder David Moses. The 20-year-old talent joins from MFK Karviná, another Czech club, and has committed to a contract extending until December 31, 2029.
Moses, a product of the Karviná academy, made a significant impression during his tenure. Notably, his debut for Karviná was against Slavia Prague in a domestic cup round of 16 match on November 18, 2022.
Despite Karviná’s 2-0 loss, Moses’s performance caught the attention of Slavia Prague’s management, leading to his eventual signing.
Expressing his enthusiasm for the new chapter, Moses stated, “I am excited about the new challenge.”
At Slavia Prague, Moses will join fellow Nigerian Igoh Ogbu, further strengthening the club’s midfield options.
This move underscores Slavia Prague’s commitment to integrating young, international talent into their squad as they aim to maintain their competitive edge in both domestic and European competitions.
