Decade Later: Malaysia’s Quest to Unravel MH370 Mystery Continues
Malaysia has agreed to resume the search for the wreckage of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370, which disappeared over a decade ago.
The new search will cover a 15,000-square-kilometer area in the southern Indian Ocean, based on the latest information and analyses.
The operation is set to begin between January and April 2025. The government has committed to paying Ocean Infinity $70 million if significant wreckage is found.
The disappearance of Flight MH370 on March 8, 2014, remains one of aviation’s greatest mysteries. Despite extensive previous search efforts, the main wreckage has not been located.
The renewed search aims to provide closure to the families of the 239 people on board.
