He emphasized the importance of athletes being vigilant about their nutrition and the substances they consume, stating, “I’m responsible for what I put in my body, what I eat, and stuff like that.”

Mikel Obi’s disclosure comes amid recent doping allegations involving Chelsea players. Forward Mykhailo Mudryk has been provisionally suspended after testing positive for meldonium, a banned substance.

Mudryk has denied any intentional wrongdoing and is awaiting further investigation.
