A tragic incident occurred on Christmas Day in Bayelsa State, where a young boy drowned in the swimming pool of the Aridolf Hotel along Isaac Boro Expressway in Yenagoa.
The boy was celebrating with other children when the accident happened. An eyewitness reported that the pool was crowded with children, making it difficult to determine the exact circumstances leading to the drowning.
Another boy was rescued and resuscitated. The identities of the deceased boy and his guardians have not been disclosed.
