Education Scandal: Governor Sule Suspends Board for Fraudulent Teacher Employment
Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule has suspended the chairman and board members of the Nasarawa State Teachers Service Commission (TSC) following allegations of unauthorized recruitment of over 1,000 teachers.
This action was prompted by public outcry over claims of unpaid salaries for the affected teachers.
During a meeting at the Government House in Lafia, TSC management acknowledged hiring the teachers without the governor’s approval.
In response, Governor Sule has established a committee to investigate the illegal recruitment and ensure transparency in the process.
