Gossip blogger Tasha K has accused rapper Cardi B of attempting to financially ruin her following a defamation lawsuit that resulted in a $3.4 million judgment against Tasha K. In recent legal documents, Tasha K alleges that Cardi B is engaging in “financial bullying” by interfering with her bankruptcy case and seeking to impose restrictions on her freedom to speak on her blogs and social media platforms.
This development follows Cardi B’s legal actions to prevent the $3.4 million debt from being discharged in Tasha K’s bankruptcy proceedings. Cardi B’s attorneys have accused Tasha K of fraudulently transferring assets to her husband and his business, and of continuing to live a luxurious lifestyle despite declaring bankruptcy.
The legal battle between the two began in 2019 when Cardi B sued Tasha K for defamation, alleging that the blogger made false claims about her, including allegations of drug use and prostitution. In 2022, a federal jury awarded Cardi B $1.25 million in damages, which later increased to $3.4 million with additional costs.
