Teacher Suspended in Lagos School After Disturbing Video of Child Assault Surfaces
A teacher at Christ Mitots School in Ikorodu, Lagos, identified as Stella Nwadigo, has been indefinitely suspended after a video surfaced showing her assaulting a 3-year-old pupil.
The incident, which has sparked public outrage, led to Nwadigo’s arrest by the Lagos State Police Command.
The Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA) has also intervened, emphasizing the government’s commitment to protecting children’s rights and ensuring justice.
The school’s management has expressed regret over the incident and assured the public of their cooperation with authorities to ensure a thorough investigation.
