Justice Must Prevail: Lagos Teacher Arrested for Assaulting Pupil, Says Police PRO Olumuyiwa Adejobi
A 45-year-old teacher, Stella Nwadigo, from Christ-Mitots School in Ikorodu, Lagos State, has been arrested following a viral video showing her physically assaulting a three-year-old pupil, Abayomi Michael. The video, which surfaced on social media on January 8, 2025, sparked widespread condemnation.
The Nigeria Police Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, confirmed the arrest, stating, “Justice must be served.”
The Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA) also confirmed the arrest, emphasizing their commitment to protecting children’s rights and ensuring justice for victims of abuse.
