Dalyce Curry’s Shocking Demise: Fire Devastation Claims Hollywood Star’s Life
Dalyce Curry, a 95-year-old actress renowned for her roles in films such as “The Blues Brothers,” “The Ten Commandments,” and “Lady Sings the Blues,” tragically lost her life in the recent wildfires in Los Angeles. Her remains were discovered in her Altadena home, which was destroyed by the Eaton Fire.
Curry’s granddaughter, Dalyce Kelley, last saw her grandmother on January 7, 2025, when she dropped her off at home. The following day, the Eaton Fire ravaged the area, leading to widespread destruction. Kelley returned to find the property burned down, with the exception of Curry’s blue Cadillac.
The Los Angeles wildfires have been devastating, resulting in at least 24 fatalities and displacing nearly 200,000 people. The fires have burned approximately 39,000 acres, marking one of the most destructive firestorms in the city’s history.
Curry, affectionately known as “Momma D,” was a beloved figure in the entertainment industry, celebrated for her contributions to film and her enduring legacy in Hollywood.
