Former President Obama Booed at Trump Event: Social Media Backlash Explodes
During Donald Trump’s inauguration on January 20, 2025, former President Barack Obama was met with boos from the crowd as he entered the U.S. Capitol Rotunda. Notably, Obama attended the event without his wife, Michelle Obama.
The crowd’s reaction extended to other prominent figures; both Bill and Hillary Clinton also faced jeers upon their arrival.
In contrast, former President George W. Bush and his wife, Laura Bush, received a warm reception from attendees.
