207 Children Rescued: Nigeria Police Dismantle Bandit Networks
The Nigeria Police Force has successfully rescued 207 abducted children and thwarted multiple bandit attacks across the country. In Kogi State, police operatives engaged suspected bandits in a gun duel, resulting in the neutralization of one bandit and the arrest of four others.
The operatives recovered an AK-47 rifle, two magazines, 30 rounds of live ammunition, and two motorcycles from the suspects.
In Ondo State, a syndicate involved in child abduction and trafficking was dismantled, leading to the rescue of 14 children.
The police have intensified efforts to combat human trafficking and the operation of illegal baby factories, successfully rescuing more than 207 abducted children from suspected traffickers nationwide.
These operations underscore the Nigeria Police Force’s commitment to safeguarding children and combating criminal activities nationwide.
