Osun’s Crime Shock: Ex-Convict Rearrested for Theft Eight Days Post-Pardon
Just eight days after being granted a state pardon by Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, an ex-convict has been rearrested for allegedly stealing a television set in Osogbo, the state capital.
The suspect, who had previously been imprisoned for a similar offense, was among those granted clemency as part of Governor Adeleke’s initiative to decongest correctional facilities in the state.
However, local authorities confirmed that he was caught stealing again, leading to his immediate re-arrest and detention.
