Kaduna Warehouse Shut Down by NAFDAC: A Blow Against Expired Products
The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has shut down a warehouse in Kaduna that was found to be stocked with expired products.
The warehouse, which was located in the state’s commercial hub, was found to contain expired food, drugs, and other consumables that posed serious health risks to the public.
NAFDAC officials conducted the raid after receiving intelligence about the illegal storage and sale of expired goods, which are often repackaged and sold to unsuspecting consumers.
The agency has since impounded the expired products and is taking legal action against those responsible for the illegal activities.
