Meet the Man Transforming into a Reptilian with Weekly Silicone Skull Implants
Erik Sprague, known as “The Lizardman,” has undergone extensive body modifications to achieve a reptilian appearance. His transformations include full-body green scale tattoos, a bifurcated (split) tongue, sharpened teeth, and subdermal implants to create horn-like ridges on his forehead.
Notably, he had Teflon implants grafted beneath his skin to form these protrusions. Remarkably, this six-hour procedure was performed without anesthesia, leading to significant pain, vomiting, and hallucinations during recovery.
Sprague’s journey into body modification began in the 1990s, and over the years, he has become a prominent figure in the performance art and body modification communities. His transformation has garnered significant media attention, and he continues to share insights into his experiences and the cultural aspects of body modification.
