Premier League Records Shattered: Mo Salah Overtakes Thierry Henry
Mohamed Salah has surpassed Thierry Henry to become the seventh-highest goalscorer in Premier League history. Salah achieved this milestone by scoring his 176th Premier League goal during Liverpool’s recent 4-1 victory over Ipswich Town. This goal also marked his 100th Premier League goal at Anfield.
Salah’s consistent performance has been remarkable, with 20 or more goals in eight consecutive seasons. He currently leads the Premier League’s Golden Boot race with 19 goals this season, closely followed by Erling Haaland and Alexander Isak.
In the all-time Premier League goalscoring chart, Salah now stands at seventh place, just behind Frank Lampard, who has 177 goals. The top positions are held by Alan Shearer (260 goals), Harry Kane (213), Wayne Rooney (208), Andy Cole (187), and Sergio Agüero (184).
Salah’s ascent in the Premier League’s all-time goalscoring chart underscores his exceptional talent and consistency since joining Liverpool in 2017.
