He believed that engaging with Epstein could advance his global health philanthropy efforts, but he now recognizes that this was misguided and ultimately detrimental.
Gates also revealed that Epstein allegedly threatened to expose an affair with Russian bridge player Mila Antonova if Gates did not join his charitable fund.
This association reportedly contributed to Gates’ divorce from Melinda Gates in 2021, as she found his meetings with Epstein deeply troubling.
